Even though it was later in the year than normal, the awards breakfast once again offered a great opportunity for everyone to reconnect, celebrate their accomplishments and prepare for the year ahead. Thanks again to Kim for putting together a terrific morning.
Once again, Jim Gillespie offered a terrific overview of the market. If you haven't already, check out the notes he offered on the market and the media. I can't attach them here, but the link was emailed to you already and is in the general library for you to review. Jamie's thoughts on relocation and on winning the CARTUS cup were also interesting, and as we go through the rest of 2008 I know that is going to be a big concern.
Since I didn't have the chance to say so personally, allow me to congratulate those who won awards. While we offer our congratulations in the newspaper and in front of the group, I encourage you to utilize your award in other ways - perhaps by doing something silly (a video where a rising star "thanks the academy" and then talks about the reasons he/she deserves the award) or an ecard to your sphere of influence that shows you getting the award from the CEO of Coldwell Banker? The choices are endless. The point is that you worked hard for it, so you might as well take full advantage!
